Cuando el ni\u00f1o es menor a 2 a\u00f1os y naci\u00f3 antes de las 37 semanas de gestaci\u00f3n es necesario realizar un \u201cajuste por prematurez\u201d, se calcula el n\u00famero de semanas que le faltaron para cumplir las 40 semanas de gestaci\u00f3n (semanas que la Prueba EDI considera como un embarazo de t\u00e9rmino) y se restan a la edad cronol\u00f3gica.<\/p>\n

Al resultado del ajuste se le conoce como\u00a0Edad corregida<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
